The Night I was thrown out
We went out to Greater NOIDA for a drive. Then came back and bought 4 more beers + 2 Kg Chicken; went over to my place and cooked and drank and ate till 2 in the night.
Then Sandeep and Gaurav started going back and I went down with them to see them off. To my utter dismay, When I came back, I realized that Soma had locked the door from inside and gone off to sleep (she was too tired yesterday). I kept banging the door for 30 mins, but she was dead asleep. Those were the moments of my helplessness.
Anyway, I went off to my car to sleep, but mosquitoes were hell bent to suck by blood out dry. So I drove back to office (in my pajamas and Hawaii chappal)! Spent 2 hrs in here all sleepy, exhausted and disgusted…
At 5:30 am I reached back home and started banging the door again. This time she woke up and was kind enough to open the door for me. I was absolutely furious. But before I could yell at her, she said “I’m sorry Anu”, and went off to sleep again…
It’s mid-day and I’m still half asleep and wondering;
